Seohyun Confirmed for 1st Drama Role Passionate Love 270813
Girls’ Generation’s youngest member Seohyun has decided to take on an upcoming romantic series, which will mark her acting debut.
She will appear in a melodrama tentatively titled “Passionate Love,” revolving around the love between a boy and a girl whose families are entangled in a tragedy, an official with the drama’s production company Pan Entertainment said on Tuesday.
Actor Sung Hoon will be playing male lead character Kang Moo-yeol, a plutocrat who has suffered a heartbreak from losing the woman he loves while Choi Yoon-young will take on the perky female lead character Han Yoo-jung.
Seohyun, playing Han Yoo-jung’s older sister and Kang Moo-yeol’s first love, will appear in five episodes maximum, exiting the show due to a tragic accident, according to the official.
The drama is set to premiere on September 28, after current drama “Wonderful Mama” ends its run.
